For over 45 years, Dean Rosnau has been a passionate climber, explorer, and dedicated search and rescue (SAR) professional. His journey began in 1975 at Joshua Tree, and by 1984, he had committed himself to saving lives after witnessing the tragic disappearance of a child in the wilderness.

With over three decades of SAR experience, Dean has navigated the treacherous terrain of the High Sierra, braving extreme conditions to locate missing hikers, climbers, and adventurers. His firsthand knowledge of the mountains, combined with his deep commitment to service, has made him one of the most respected figures in the rescue community.
